From air conditioning that is no longer cooling properly to refrigerant leaks, compressor faults and engine cooling-system problems, we diagnose the cause before recommending the work your vehicle actually needs.
If your air conditioning is no longer cooling properly, simply adding refrigerant may not solve the problem. At CBC, we assess the system to identify issues such as refrigerant loss, leaks, compressor faults, pressure problems or airflow concerns before recommending what actually needs attention.
Finding the cause, not simply regassing the system.
Proper A/C servicing using dedicated workshop equipment.
Assessing refrigerant loss, system pressures and related faults.
Clear recommendations based on what your vehicle actually needs.
From routine A/C regassing to fault diagnosis, leak detection, component repairs and engine cooling-system problems, we can help identify what your vehicle actually needs.
Recovering, vacuum testing and recharging the system with the correct refrigerant quantity.
Investigating poor cooling, inconsistent temperatures and systems that are not operating as they should.
Finding refrigerant leaks and identifying why the system is losing charge.
Diagnosing compressor, condenser, pressure sensor and other A/C system component faults.
Investigating weak airflow, temperature problems and other issues affecting comfort inside the vehicle.
Cooling-system diagnosis and repairs including radiators, thermostats, water pumps, hoses and coolant leaks.
Air conditioning and cooling-system problems can show up in different ways. If your vehicle isn't cooling properly, airflow has changed or you're noticing temperature issues, tell us what you've noticed and let the CBC team help you work out the next step.
If your air conditioning has stopped cooling properly, simply adding refrigerant may not address why the problem developed. We assess how the system is performing, check for signs of refrigerant loss and investigate related components before deciding what actually needs attention.
Check the complaint and system performance.
Assess operation, pressures and related components.
Find leaks, faults or the reason for poor cooling.
Repair the fault or replace components where required.
Recharge correctly and confirm system performance.
Good A/C service starts with understanding how the system is performing. We assess the system, identify the cause of poor cooling and recommend what actually needs attention.
We investigate why the system isn't performing properly before recommending the repair.
Dedicated A/C servicing equipment for proper system recovery, vacuum and recharging.
From cabin cooling and A/C components to engine cooling-system faults.
A/C and cooling-system problems can have a number of different causes. Here are answers to some of the questions we are commonly asked.
Poor A/C performance can be caused by low refrigerant, a leak, compressor or pressure-related faults, electrical problems, airflow issues or other component failures. We assess the system to identify the cause before recommending the repair.
Possibly, but poor cooling does not automatically mean the system simply needs more refrigerant. If refrigerant has been lost, there may also be a leak or another fault affecting system performance. We prefer to assess the system rather than assume that a regas alone will solve the problem.
There is no single regassing interval that applies to every vehicle. If the A/C is performing correctly, it should not be regassed simply because a certain amount of time has passed. If cooling performance has deteriorated, the system should be assessed to determine why.
If cooling improves after a regas and then deteriorates again, refrigerant loss or another underlying fault may be present. Repeatedly adding refrigerant without investigating the cause may only provide a temporary result.
Yes. We can investigate refrigerant loss and identify leaks or faults within the A/C system. Once the cause has been identified, we can advise you on the appropriate repair before the system is correctly recharged.
Compressor problems can have several causes, including internal wear, lubrication problems, refrigerant-related issues, electrical faults or problems elsewhere in the A/C system. Proper diagnosis is important before replacing a compressor.
Weak airflow can be caused by issues such as a restricted cabin filter, blower problems, airflow-control faults or restrictions within the ventilation system. This is different from the air blowing strongly but not being cold.
Yes. Our cooling-system work includes investigating overheating, coolant loss and faults involving components such as radiators, thermostats, water pumps and hoses. The aim is to identify the cause rather than simply replacing parts based on the symptom.
